Just been having a look lat the spec for various Mito's , whilst this is a company car making the 1.6 Diesel the obvious choice (i know the reactionto diesel) , i just toyed with the idea the the less powerful 120bhp petrol .Has anyone got the emissions, mpg and performance figures for this vehicle yet ?

Have emailed my dealer again in the hope they willtell me when they will have one in showroom.Has anyone heard if they are having official lanch day at dealers around the company ? Short of driving past them every day will have to rely on their communication skills!:)

I don't think the figures have yet been released for the 120 1.4 or the 90 1.3, (the reason for my sig atm!). Have a look at the GP sporting 120 t-jet and expect similar performance but hopefully slightly better emmissions and mpg.

If you want to be kept in the loop the best thing to do is go to the Alfa site and register your interest by getting a brochure sent to you. I got loads of stuff from the Brera launch by doing that.

BTW OMG the Mito Configurator is up on the UK site !!!!!

Well from what I read, the 1.6JTDm 120bhp would be +- on-par with the 1.4TB 155bhp in regards to 'normal road performance'. The higher torque (320 Nm vs 230 Nm) available at much lower RPM would make up for it having less horsepower... Offc it weighs more, and takes almost 2 secs more to reach 100km/h. The 1.6 JTDm also features the overboost feature available on the 1.4TB 155bhp in Dynamic mode.

For the 1.4TB 120bhp, that's still unknown, as Alfa hasn't released any info on it afaik...

Pretty lengthy & interesting article (though with loads of already known stuff) here btw:

I've got the spet 08 brochere here.

1.4tb is 0-60 in 8sec and mpg is 33/53/43
1.6jtdm is 0-60 in 9.9sec and mpg is 47/68/58

The 120bhp 1.4 is TBA but I would guess it's similar to a 1.6 120bhp 147 so around 9.5secs

Hi, this should hopefully link to the Dutch Alfa site and a video thereon. It gives some data for the 120bhp version e.g. 0-100km/h (0-62mph) as 9.9secs Alfa MiTo

Hmmm, link does go straight to the right video - you have to 'open' the 'magazine' and then click on tab 3 and then click on the 'motor' picture

Thats all still the 1.6 diesel 120bhp. The Europeans don't seem to be getting the 1.4 petrol 120bhp, or at least not yet, and despite it being in the GP the obviously haven't had proper govenment testing of it yet.

I can get an insurance quote on the 1.4 120 bhp petrol in Holland. She will be coming. No specs as of yet

Finally the 120bhp petrol 0-62 8.8, 145kgm so £30 less tax a year than the 155bhp, top speed 123mph, not showing the fuel figures yet.

90bhp diesel 1.3 - 11.8 0-62 119kgm and 110 top speed.

120 petrol looks like a peach of an engine with the high costs of motoring just want to see the mpg figures now. Will be looking tomorrow at the car itself so may order a 120bhp petrol in veloce.

Best go edit my sig.

what about the 95 Petrol?
I'd love the 120petrol, but as my first car, i don't think the 95's unreasonable. Especially at that price! (1.4 95 Veloce) :wow:

EDIT: just had a look a ALFA Germany site (Alfa UK wouldn't load up)

Kerb Weight (kg): 1080
Power (hp): 95 @ 6000rpm
0-62mph (s): 11.2
Top Speed (mph): 112
Fuel consumption (l/km): 5.9 (combined)
Torque (Nm): 129 @ 4500rpm (compared with 320 for the 1.6JTDM)

The 1.4 95bhp details have always been available: co emission 138kgm and fuel economy: 36.7, 58.9, 47.9 (U, EU, COM)

It was only the 120bhp t-jet and 90bhp m-jet that were TBC, still waiting for the price list to be updated with their MPG figures now, unless one of the dealerships who come on here have any detail yet?

I clearly just didn't know where to find them, if i had, i wouldn't have asked. Due to the fact nobody said anything about their figures, i assumed they weren't out yet.

Right i have the figs for 1.4 TB bhp

Torque 206nm at1750rpm
Top Speed 123mph
0-100km/h 8.8
Weight 1145kg
Co2 145 g/km

All looking very sweet :)

However the clincher is the mpg figure which I can not seem to find.

Does anyone have this?

Hi,

The combined figure is 46.3mpg for the TB 120bhp. As yet I do not have the urban and extra urban figures I'm afraid but if you look at the fact that the 155 bhp is 2.8mpg worse on the combined cycle and apply a similar logic to the others, it would make the urban approx 36mpg and the extra urban approx 56.mpg
I hope this helps

David

As mine is a private purchase I'm going back to petrol again, I seem to cycle between them now. Going for the 120 as it is still a fair bit quicker than my 159 and as it devlops its torque lower down than the 155 version I think it should be better for my horrible morning slog through town.
