I have a 2000 Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 V6. I'm going to be having quite a bit of work done to the head (gasflowing, polishing, valves etc.), but I want to get a set of performance cams before I send in the heads (so that the head work being done will match the cams etc.). I'm also going to be running a Dastek UniQ chip, Sportflo headers, a custom s/steel de-cat free-flow exhaust system and possibly NOS (<--a bit later).

Please can someone advise on any company that may be able to supply performance cams and what sort of cam to go for (i.e 272 etc.)

I'm based in South Africa, so I'd need to be able to order the parts for shipment.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thanks, will check them out. Do the GTA cams bolt right in?
I believe so ... obviously you'd need the GTA cam locks etc when fitting the belt ...

I think its Barry at Glenwood motors who's the aresi Guru out in SA, maybe you could have a word with him.

GTA inlet cams (exhausts are the same as a 2.5/3.0) bolt straight in and are a hassle free option. Race cams etc that probably don't come with cam locks are going to be a very specialist job to fit.
