Peoples current 'GO TO' Alfa independants?

I am near Leatherhead in Surrey, for years I have made the trip to Alfaworkshop in Royston the guys have been always great for our 156 & GT. But the Covid & lockdown made it a bit bit hard to make the trip.
I found Bianco Alfa near Gatwick and they were also great so look to be my currect choice.
I wondered where any one in the south goes to for our older Alfas to be looked after?

MGC servicing Nottingham, very good, just bought a 2.0 JTS cloverleaf and I will be taking her there for a service and a once over.

Autolusso Bournemouth is excellent, and a much nicer drive for me in West London, than anywhere else, despite the distance. But too far when I needed a clutch (no drive). Then I went to Firela Motors in SW9, who were also excellent - recommended by a friend whose Guilietta they have looked after for 5 years. I also like Autolusso Houghton Regis, but the N.Circular and M1 are a PITA.

+1 for Autolusso Bournemouth. I travel there from South Wales. It’s a long drive but worth it for the service.

Italie tec and AF1 Mansfield both good.
McLenans at Loanhead, Edinburgh. Looked after a couple of my Alfas now. Only down side is they are so busy all of the time!
Never used one in my life. I've been using the same trusted local mechanic for decades - he's worked on Ferraris, 911 Turbos, AMG Mercs, so I think he can cope with an Alfa!

I am jealous. I DIY most things, but only have the public road. Not too bad on the gutter side, but the offside is downright scary because of traffic. It's a narrow residential road about 1.5cars wide between parked cars... large SUV's, builders vans, people on mobiles... I bottled clutch replacement and ARB bushes because of this.

Same, haven't used a garage in last 3 years, apart MOT.
to be honest, both cars were quite reliable, only usual worn rubber parts. Serviced myself always 😊

WAD Alfa Fiat in Wolverhampton, who have looked after the Brera both for me and its previous owner. Luckily for me they are only half hr/40 mins walk away (a key deciding factor in yea/nay on Brera purchase).

We have that problem on this street. Except, the idiot neighbour next door carries out car maintenance regardless. Last weekend it was oil /filter change and brake pad replacement. Result: dirty washing up bowl of old oil now parked on pavement, along with all the other rubbish junk & detritus dumped outside his frontage. A local garage tells me you shouldn't do oil changes on a public roadway.... When car was jacked up for brake pad swap, it lurched off the jack with a loud crunch & came to rest less than a foot behind my car 🤬. Minutes earlier this idiot had been lying underneath...

Back to Alfa indies. A much more elevating topic.

I do stuff like servicing and brakes myself (GT 3.2), but for larger jobs I use Duncan Slade, Alfanet Services in Bristol. It’s a fair drive but there are no specialists near me (West Oxfordshire). Duncan knows Alfa’s inside out and his prices are really good.

I've heard good stuff about Duncan, Feli at Autoalfa Basildon is very good, currently use NJS Pershore as I've moved very good but bit pricey, think his labour is now 80 odd plus vat.
Never use a Garage , done my own stuff for nigh on 50yrs now!
