Hi all ,just thought i would post this before i look at it i have a 155 in the garage and the clutch pedal is up and won't go down and the slave cylinder piston is out compressing the clutch in .The clutch is only 10,000 miles old .I recon its the slave but can you save me some time please and give me your feedback .

But it sounds as though the release bearing has seized onto the housing it`s suppossed to slide on (sorry can`t remember what you call it :rolleyes: )

Btw had a similar thing on me mates Landrover once wink

ok hows this,

the master cylinder has seized/broken/stuck in the down position,and then the pedal has come up and popped out of the end of the master cylinder due to the securing click being missing and in doing so has got caught up somewhere so it wont go down..ergo the cluch is down the pedal is up.!!

just a thought... :D
