CANBUS issue - one of the controllers is the drivers electric window switch - I'd guess you have disturbed something inside the door (hopefully you haven't damaged the body computer...)
Peculiar goings on....
Since having the door card off and currently having a piece of wood chocking up my window with a lump of 2x4, my puddle lights are permanently on 
leaving me with a flat battery, very flat. Also the temp display numbers flash when i turn the dials (Lusso dash, digi display) but then settle down. And the boot wont open, from the fob or inside
Now i know Alfas are tetchy bleeders with their electrics but any one got any clue as to what is actually going on?

Well the drivers window switch fell to pieces when it came out. I'll keep my fingers crossed for when its replaced that things start to behave normally
