I had the same similar problem the other day, my drivers side would only go up 1cm at a time so I fully held down the switch till the window opened fully then held the switch down for approx 10 secs. hey presto it worked so hopefully the reset way may work for you, try on both sides.
Passenger side window being tempremental on my GT
90% of the time I drive my GT on my own, and so control both windows from my side. This works no problem. However, when I do have a passenger, and so both windows switches are being used, the window can get "stuck" so that neither of us can open or close it for a bit. This was particularly annoying (and entertaining!) at times last week when I covered over 1,000 miles in France and we needed to pay the tolls and couldn't get the window open..!
Is this likely a duff switch, or something more serious?
It's not a huge issue, but I'd like to get it sorted if possible while I'm thinking about it!
