The Title clearly . Clearly. says " Parts from a 2.2 Engine"
What it doesnt say is "2.2 engine for sale"

Then the listing clearly, Clearly, says " Does anyone want anything from this 2.2 engine "
And the 2 important words in that last sentence are " Anything From" ... because im asking if " anyone want parts from this 2.2 engine"

And 4,291 is a generic number ive had to put in as different parts from this engine will be different prices so i use 4,291 which is Victor Meldrews phone number in One foot in the Grave.

So the main point to take away from reading this is, No, you haven't got this right by a very long way , have you.

With 25 years in design and print (advising on marketing to SME's), following a previous 20 years in sales, the last thing you should do with marketing or advertising is to make your pitch ambiguous in any way, to anyone. Worse than trying to solve a cryptic crossword. Would never have done it not being a fan of One Foot in the Grave. It just seemed a ridiculous amount for some secondhand engine parts. I only looked at the advert as I thought the title must be a odd way of referring to a complete car

Harry, you are missing the point. You had 3 people respond, OK, good. However, what you wont know is how many passed by thinking the advert was irrelevant to them. I'm trying to help you now, you have seconds to grab someones attention with any advert, 'From 99p', 'Reduced by 50% (on some items in the small print)' etc are what advertisers use to grab your attention in those few seconds. The reason I posted my original comment was that those few seconds got my attention in a negative way, I saw 'engine' together with a photo of an engine and '£4291'. Sorry if I have offended you, I mean well.

I dont have seconds to grab someones attention on this forum.
The listing will be visable for days or weeks untill it goes onto the 2nd , 3rd, 4th page ect ect and into oblivion, its hardly an add campaign for Gucci , Tiffany or, Greggs.
Listen, we're going round in circles but,
You saw engine.
Yet you didnt see " Parts from or anything from" and a picture of an engine.
You also thought that a price of 4,291 not 4,300 or just 4k was an asking price ?
Several of my previous posts also have 4,291, like wanting a single Ti wheel or wanting a 159 bonnet in grey , i put 4291 like people who put 1234 when they either dont know what to offer or just as a price to fill the listing requirement.

Now due to your 'Help' i have 2 other pricks thinking theyre something special trying to ridicule also to deal with , one of whom is trying to say anyone who wants a part from the old knackered engine is thick, yet one of his mates has asked about the injectors and rubber pipe from the maf thats why i asked if he was calling the said person thick to which he answered Einstein, which made me chuckle, but please dont help me anymore

Although I have no use for any 2.2 parts, I read it as you intended. Common sense dictates that you wouldn't be asking £4291 for engine parts. Those that thought otherwise must be members of that Densa group
