the clear lacquer is lifting off in large pieces from the front wing and around the tailgate catch on my 08 brera, is this a regular fault or am I just a lucky boy ..:depressed::irked: mr swivs ..

I had that on my 52-plate 156 a couple of years ago, and ended up having it resprayed :irked:

I've now got a 159 and have been told that it's painted with a different system / type of paint, so shouldn't suffer the same fate. Time will tell...

It's either a dodgy paint job by some1 or it started as a chip etc and the weather has got under the paint and started to lift it. Just get it sprayed. Only option ?

yes there sounds more to it , shouldn't be experiencing paint issues like that on such a recent car

Have you noticed any chips that started off small then spread ?
