Maybe I don't know the right search words but has anyone ever refinished a set of Sprint wheels?

I would like to do the work myself as I cannot justify $800.00 AUD or more that a wheel pro company will charge.

It does'nt look to difficult but I would like to know if anyone has tried and the method used.

Your 147 looks very good with the dark wheels

I once did a refurb on my wheels and yeah its a lot of work, one thing that you can do is to let the air out of the tyres and then its easier to get the masking tape a bit further in under the rim.

There is a plenty good guides on the net.............

I forgot to ask what the original color is used on the sprint.
Its a grey with a clear top coat I think.

Does anyone know?

I've just finished my wheels. I polished the outer rim and sprayed the inner white and then a layer of clear. they looked good for about a day. A word of warning, use good quality paint, not like me. Mine turned beige in the New Zealand sun. there was a lot of elbow grease used and I'm as sure as hell not going to do it again in a hurry. I just keep telling myself beige is the new black (or white). Retro all the way.

Gee thanks.

I've done zip for the screen but the screen as a scratch that I can feel.

So $278.00AUD for a new one after I fix the rust.

Oh and the screen on my car is not from Alfa. :(
