Hi,
The engine warning light and 'have engine checked' light came up on my 2.4 JTDM 159 yesterday. I've scanned with ecu multiscan (free version) and found the fault message 'P2084 temperature sensor on particulate filter inlet', which I cleared, although I expect it to come back as i haven't actually done anything to resolve.
Is this simply a case of forcing a regen on the dpf with the paid version of multiscan, or is a trip to a garage needed? Hoping to avoid the expense if i can, plus no good Alfa indies nearby.
