Powerful cars, convoy + rain = expensive accident just waiting to happen.

Luckily only minor injuries and bruised egos.

"While the majority of the 14 vehicles – which also included a Japanese supercar Nissan GT-R Skyline and a Toyota Prius" is there a touch of irony here?

"The total damage bill is expected to hit several million pounds. A new Ferrari 355 retails for several hundred thousand pounds".

Why is that whenever journos report about people's cars or properties they so often just make things up.

No a new F355 doesn't cost several hundred thousand pounds, in no small part because there is no such thing !

It's like the Sun calling any house which is isn't a semi and has more than three beds "A mansion".

I expect better from the Torygraph.

It's the same nonsense on the Mirror website, probably bought in from an Agency. The Mirror has some video from local news where it seems the Japanese for sports car is 'sports car'. It also shows a nice curve and scenery.

SKY News were showing a lot of footage from this accident earlier this Morning, and its one hell of a pile up, with a lot of wreckage strewn all over the place, and some seriously damaged expensive Cars indeed........

You'd think when Clarkson was in Japan in the GTR 35 racing Hammond and May on the Bullet Train he could have told us told that the Japanese for sports car is 'sports car'?

Come on Clarkson! With a bit more effort Top Gear could almost be as informative as AO.
