What is it you need? I have owned many Manta's and still have a few contacts etc.
Nothing for the moment but whenever i'm in need of a part,i have to check the whole internet to find.
There is nothing in this island for any classic car part:mad:

I always liked the look of the Manta. My brother's friend had a Manta A painted in primer grey :lol But it was fast and he drove it like a mad man , or thats how it felt when I was young.

Many a good memory of traveling in it on the way to see a rally or something, he was also a bit of an RS buff and so always trying to spot any remaining Escort RS's or Mantas on the way

Wouldnt mind having one of the Manta B i200's or the 400 with the wide arch body kit, still think they are a good looking car

On a related note:

There was rumours that GM were thinking of reviving the Manta:eek:
IMO it was by far one of the best looking cars to ever come out of GM and way, way ahead of it's time as far as looks were concerned.
Even today it still looks modern with it's sleek lines. just a shame about the front headlights and rear light clusters making it look dated:rolleyes:

If it was me in charge, I would say, Yes, go for it.... But give the designers the strict directive to make it look as close to the original as possible (if it ain't broken, dont try and fix it approach) albeit modernised in such a way that the lines were virtually identical but with 21st century upgrades to lights, interior, wheels etc. Chuck in the RWD drivetrain from the Holden/VX Morano VXR8... What a car that would be. They would sell like hot cakes:D

If only:rolleyes:
Going to dream of that now:cheese:
