I have dithered a bit about becoming a Regional rep.

The only meet we have had was organised by Phil and me - it was wet (boy was it wet) but it seemed to work. Like all of us I have limited time to do stuff - but - I now reckon I could take this on board - are we all happy with this?

If so - then we should think about doing something - a track day sounds good - if you are interested please do some research about where and when - post here and we can then all decide whether your venue is good.

In a more mundane way I am thinking about a monthly/bi-monthly meet in a pub. Because E. Anglia is such a large area we could alternate venues and my own thought is that a weekend (Friday/Saturday evening might be best.

Bury seems central(ish) - so is anyone up for a meet in July?

Paul.

Cheers Paul,

Definitely interested in track day and monthy/bimonthly meets. Personally am busy this month after friday 13th: summer holidays etc. but if it's not too late to sort something out before then would love to come along as really enjoyed last meet.
If you're happy to take on the rep.role my time's pretty limited but I'm willing to help out a wee bit if I can.:)

Definately up for a meeting, been in Bury today getting my new key coded at Desira, nice drive from my place.

I am doing a track day at Snetterton on 30th July, I spoke to the organisers, they said plenty of spaces still up for grabs. It's a monday, but luckily can get time off work.

Any one else able to make it?

OK - one thing at a time maybe. We seem to be in danger of getting a confusing number of subjects in one thread here.

Can I suggest that we use this one for people's track day ideas and Gentari's thread for talking about a regular meet - see you on both threads.

Paul.

I've been having serious thoughts about Snetterton on 30th july as has my son who wants to drive as well. Trouble is it may be a bit too close to summer holiday expenses for me this time. I'd love to do it though, Snetterton is my home track so to speak.

I haven't booked the 30th yet, but will do it within the week, would be great to see some other Alfas there. I can't wait to see what the 147 will do.
