New here, so forgive me if I've missed this kind of thread previously..

Long story short, bought a 2013 MiTo a while back and have just put it back on the road. Its thrown up a few electrical issues and I've tracked some of it back to a really bad bodge job on the oil pressure sensor where it looks like someone cut the end off. the plug connector

Bad, I know - should have checked the back side of the engine when I bought it, the place I got it from is long gone but the fix should be simple, put a new sensor in, splice a new connector into the loom and boom... BUT... every sensor I can buy is single pin and what's in here is three pin. I can't make sense of it.

I know the pressure sensors are a bit tricky on MiTo's so I'm wondering if there are any experts on here who can help me with the wiring?

Is that a genuine pressure sensor or has it had something non standard bodged in, are there any aftermarket gauges in the car?
Nothing after market in the car at all. That's what is driving me nuts. If its the wrong sensor (and I'm assuming it is!) I have no idea what two of the three wires do!

SOLVED - No idea why but the majority of sites are selling single pin sensors - found an Italian car parts specialist nearby that I had no idea existed and voila... three pin sensor.

Moral of the story - putting your reg number into car parts sites does not give you the right answer some of the time.....
