New here, so forgive me if I've missed this kind of thread previously..
Long story short, bought a 2013 MiTo a while back and have just put it back on the road. Its thrown up a few electrical issues and I've tracked some of it back to a really bad bodge job on the oil pressure sensor where it looks like someone cut the end off. the plug connector
Bad, I know - should have checked the back side of the engine when I bought it, the place I got it from is long gone but the fix should be simple, put a new sensor in, splice a new connector into the loom and boom... BUT... every sensor I can buy is single pin and what's in here is three pin. I can't make sense of it.
I know the pressure sensors are a bit tricky on MiTo's so I'm wondering if there are any experts on here who can help me with the wiring?
