The airbag warning light on my car does what it should, but occasionally, it comes on while I'm driving for a minute or so, then goes out again! No particular conditions needed for it to do it. It's weird!

I thought they were meant to need resetting of a fault popped up?

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

Andy.

That is normal. Mine had a loose connection and did exactly the same. The 156 GTA does not need a reset to get rid of the warning light, it just needs to be fixed.

The usual culprits are the connectors under the front seats, or (as mine was) the curtain airbag connector in the boot lining...

I seem to remember reading somewhere that it does this when it is checking the system too. Could be wrong mind you.

Mine did the same. It turned out to be the connector/cable under the driver's seat had been pulled tight. I undid it and pulled some slack through and Bob's your uncle. Result.
