Was just thinking that a chap in the Northern Ireland Italian Motor Club was talking of selling his 147 GTA a while back. He still has it so may be worth contacting if you were serious about buying.

Hi guys,still snoopin' about lol.Decided to hang on to the GTA,although I've been deprived of her for two weeks now! WK is doing some major work including (deep breath) Bottom suspension arms,New 330 discs/pads,timing belt/tensioner,crankshaft oil seals,water pump,clutch,Quafe diff,new radiator,various other seals etc! Saw the car running again yesterday hopefully I'll have her back Tues/Wed provided she is free from any leaks etc.Interested to feel the difference with the new diff fitted.Next plan is for a remap in very near future,should give about 268/270 bhp + more torques.Cost is frightening,and there is no way I'd get my money back on a sale,so looks like she's mine for life :thumbs: lol

Got the car back last night,only had time for a quick spin this morning.What a transformatio!I reckon she's running better now than anytime since I bought her!Feels quicker,smoother,no torque steer at all,even though the front tyres are past thier best.Excellent handling and braking,so smooth gearchange,steering etc! I don't think she was this good leaving the factory :thumbs: Top marks to Will for his all his hard work work,can't recommend him highly enough.Guess I need to invest in front tyres soon,and I'm getting the re-map soon. Lookin forward to many more happy miles with a stupid grin on my face.

A Mito QV SBK that you think I should bring back for a full refund. I'm just keen to know where you have seen one in the flesh so I can go look at it before I travel to England to complete the sale. Your opinion on the car having seen it in the flesh is very valuable as the styling is a bit unusual but I am told is actually very appealing I the flesh. It would save me a lot of time as I have a fully refundable deposit.

It was more of a tongue in cheek comment so that you could buy my car. I'm sure the Mito QV is a fine car.
I am actually heading over to England tomorrow to buy the 166 sporttronic advertised on pistonheads being sold from parkway specialists having finally got rid of my super boring E class merc. I spotted the sbk in the Nottingham dealership not far from where the 166 is. I really am in two minds about it in terms of styling but decided to put a deposit on it and see it while I am over there. So does anyone have an opinion on the sbk and does anyone know if there are any local.

Hey ho long time no see...just spied this thread and decided to give a heads up on my own wee 147. Had it fer 4 years now and am seriously thinking about parting with it after I put another years mot on it...so not for sale right now but soon will be and those who don't know their alfas will see nothing more than a sporty looking 147.
For those who don't know my little lady it's a 147 Ducati corse Q2...all original spec apart from the tinted rear windows. Engine gives 170bhp unmapped and car is still in pretty good condition fer a 5 year old...ill even throw in a roof rack that I use as a cycle carrier but considering the rack won't fit any other car, there's little point in holding onto it. Also comes with an alpine head unit and custom speakers/tweeters with 2 fitted amps and an 800 watt subwoofer and a parrot hands free kit.
Depending on what offers I get, I may change my mind if offers are just silly. I do have a rough idea what I'm looking for but I'd prefer to leave it open to offers and go from there. Like I say, she isn't advertised anywhere yet I'm just testing the waters here.
