Would be interesting to see the emissions info - in real world use - particularly since the Ford 1.0 ECO 3 cylinder engine has apparently been shown to be one of the most polluting engines around in real world rather than testbed situations.

This engine was used in the Nissan Zeod at Le Mans in 2014. It's a fantastic piece of engineering (the whole car was fascinating in fact - I could blather on about it for hours to anyone willing to listen) but it won't be finding its way into a road car any time soon.

Nissan does know how to build a pretty fantastic engine though - particularly for motorsport applications. The GT-R LM Nismo which raced at Le Mans last year might have turned out to be a bit of a flop, but the ICE was brilliant. A 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 which was incredibly tightly packaged and basically bulletproof.
