... but a bit cold at times.

After a trip that was interspersed with snowflakes and snow showers in the Ardennes we got to the Chalet with a setting sun - we were to have 4 days of brilliant sunshine.

On the day of our departure, however, I woke up to find her snowed under and very cold.
But we didn't even need the snow chains: the set of (granted: they were new) snow tyres did everything we were expecting: getting us up and down in the snow safely and reliably.

Two hours after we'd left, the road to the Mont Blanc tunnel had been closed...

Twas cold indeed, and the GT is such fun in the snow once you get to trust it, and once you have found out the limits of the tyres :D

It got the Mrs. sweating a bit, and me grinning from ear to ear!
I'll be back there before the winter's over ;)
