Hmm that page says "La commercializzazione della 4C è prevista nel 2013", i.e. you can buy one in 2013...

EDIT, or as the English version down the page says "The launch of the 4C is scheduled in 2013"

More Tea...

article original is on "pistonheads"
this is just a "recolour" of the original prototype mule, and does not include various changes confirmed to Car and in Alfa news (wing mirror, headlights, internal & dashboard)

nice colour, but we need to see a roadgoing version to make a decision on, not just another teaser / demo

Alfas need to be red, end of. :) Still looks good though, just a pity it's going backwards. They may lose the momentum it created and with folks like Ford putting out cool new concepts, the actual market impact may be less than they hoped.

Cheers,

Nigel

True, though Ford tend to bring out really cool concepts and then tone it down big-time and the final car isn't anything particularly special such as a mid-engined car, but it's just a standard saloon (Mondeo).

The S-Max and the Ford GT are the exceptions for me.

The GT is more like the 4C in this case - a special car, something different.
The S-Max is the only generic car that Ford successfully took from concept to production without losing much appeal.
