A new Future Classics Racing series for saloons of the 70's and 80's started in Mondello Park on Sunday April 14th with an interesting mix of cars including MK1 VW Golf GTi, Mini, Chevette, Peugeot 205's. Of Italian interest are assorted FIAT's including Uno's, Ritmo's and 128 Coupe/3p all familiar race cars around Mondello.
No Alfa Romeo has as yet appeared out, the Sud, Sud Sprint, 33, Giulietta (80's version!) and 75 are all eligible. Its very low cost with a fully raced prepared FIAT Uno 1300cc now changing hands for just €1,000, recessionary times racing. The facebook page if anyone is interested is:

There may be an Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf out in the Future Classics on June 8th on an invitation basis, the car does not qualify due to being built in the 90's (cars up to the end of the 80's qualify to compete) and having a 16v engine. Will keep forum posted in case anyone want to drop down to Mondello to see it in action. It would be great to see a 33 or Sud out in this series. A couple of UK racing Suds for sale below:
