Hello and thanks in advance,

Got a new 159 tbi, Bosch Alfa 939 head unit no Bose, no Blue & me, no AUX (thanks wile coyote).
I need a hands free kit for iPhone 4S But I am starting to think head unit needs some kind of activation by can-bus, all the info I find is about blaupunkt head unit not sure if they are exactly the same.
This is the sticker on the back of the Head unit:
Did anyone get a parrot mki to work with a Bosch 939 HU? And/or Unika?

Cheers

I believe the UNIKA interface is for this very reason, to integrate a Parrot MKi model. I haven't tried, but I have no reason to doubt Parrots claims. The products of theirs that I have used have been excellent.

Squadrone Rosso is planning similar in his Brera.

I think the unika is used to get the stearing wheel control. at this point I am not sure the to mini iso plug ia active on my head unit.

The UNIKA is meant to allow you to use the steering controls to operate the Parrot BT kit.

If you don't want to use those controls, you don't need the UNIKA.
