Hi folks im a first time Alfa owner, purchaced a 147 2.0TS last weekend and am very happy with it so far.

Its an 03 with 48k on the clock, very tidy, one owner and serviced every year at Monza of Pulbourogh (cambelt at 3 and 6 years) and every single little bit of history even down to puncture repairs lol.

Only niggles were cruise control did'nt work but it was just a switch on the clutch pedel and the drivers window has come off its rail, it was to much of a pig to get back on so I'll chuck a new window reg in soon.

Well done mate:thumbs:
That's exactly the best way to buy them... A bill, a receipt for everything!

You'll find that many Alfa issues are minor ones that the average DIY orientated owner can handle with aplomb...
Very rarely that an Alfa actually stops going.... You may see a lot of "horror stories" on the forums, but bear in mind, out of every single owner who posts an issue, there is ten more who are driving without any!..... Shhhh, mine will hear that and break:lol:

Paid 3.5k, there were plenty of cheaper ones out there but this one had clearly been cared for. Plus it had new disks/pads, exhaust and just serviced so that should save a few quid down the line.
