She was running beaute this morning. Parked up. Did a few bits and pieces, decided to nip to town, nothing. She was turning over but not firing. I had to admit defeat and call the RAC. After 10 minutes of doing stuff the guy said it was definately fuel related and asked if I'd done anything. Not really I said just hoovered her. That's probably it he said. Reached under the passenger seat and reset the inertia switch that I never new was there. Will not be so harsh with the hoover next time!

Happened to me as well. luckily it says fuel cut off switch activeated on the info centre.
Then i put 2 and 2 together.

Not sure of that. It should mention it in handbook. It's a device to stop the engine flooding with fuel after an accident.
the engine flooding with fuel really is the least of your problems if your upside down and it's still running. This would cause oil in the sump to surge into the bores and the crank will quickley and litteraly grind to a halt.
