Guys & Gals.

I've just posted this over on the AROC Forum:-

Full marks to the Events Team, Colin M, the Yorkshire section and to everyone that helped out today.

The venue was excellent and the new auto test feature was brill. Really pleased to see the AO guys and girls there too.

It was great that AO was invited and they did a great job of model parking in their section and assisting with the overall event as marshalls. Long may this new found spirit of cooperation continue!

A special mention must go to Ned from Autolusso for the innovative 156 free to all BBQ. Splendid.

Today I was also very proud to be a part of AO.

Ian, Jeff, Tony, the reps, (even) us mods and all the members really showed how professional Alfaowner can be when we put our minds to it

I think the AROC guys will recognise this and I think that everyone from AO that attended will realise that AROC is a Club for all ages and doesn't deserve it's "fuddy duddy" label some people give it.

What a cool day overall:thumbs:

Saw some rain about 3.30pm, a few drops or so, as concours presentation was underway. Left soon after but there certainly wasn't enough to interfere with what was an excellent day out. The weather was perfect almost throughout the day.

Today was the first time AO and AROC joined up on a National event and what a team

NAD was great an I can speak for the whole AO team on this one we want more of this type of meet :thumbs:

I've thanked AO on the NAD thread and it would seem churlish not to thank AROC for a well organised, well attended and enjoyable event. So I echo Simon's sentiments fully. Great day guys.

Brilliant day !!, well done to all concerned. :thumbs: Photos on the way in, great idea. Hats off to Ned, Clive & all from Auto Lusso for the free 156 barby. Slap on the back to Clive who didn't stop cooking for hours despite nearly breaking his wrist earlier when a winch handle 'spun' and 'cop'd im a treat' down at Auto Lusso

:, probably dulled the pain with the numerous bottles of red wine sunk in the Hotel on sat night.
