Clocked at 172 on N1 near Klipheuwel power station (no idea where this is) early morning in the Junior. Am so peed off at myself right now. Definitely need to start preparing the car for track days instead.

I've never been that lucky! I had a court appearance for doing 204km/h in my dad's Fiat Sienna 1.6 HL (Those buggers LOOP!!!)... I never do more than 140 on the freeways anymore... (snicker snicker :cheese:)

My 156 normally doesn't pose for speeding cameras, but here's a rare picture taken on the day I went to sign for the GTV. I was a little excited... :) http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/emcon1/AlfaOwner/untitled-1.png Damn she looks sexy at speed...

Oh by the way my fines list has been seriously impressive lately. I used to have to pay around R7000 to R8000 every year when licenses became due,but his year there were only two fines, totalling R1800. The black GTV came with a jammer...

How do you know if there's a summons coming as well? Just got the fine so far.
@Ian - dude, who's going to pay for highway maintenance in the cape if your car has a --m--r (prolly best to delete actual word in your post)? Does that --m--r actually work?

El, I didn't fit it and don't know where the unit is located to remove it. All I see is a display next to the driver's seat with a kill switch to kill it once you've reduced speed so the cops won't know you have it fitted (i think) but it's gone off twice so far and both times I was below the speed limit though, but I feel so offended that the cops would decide "here comes a flat black car, lets laser him!"...:cheese:

Both times I saw the officer looking at his equipment in a confused manner as I cruised past, doing 0km/h...

I want to replace it with something a bit more "legal". This one is still an older version, an Escort ZR3 Shifter and only works with laser, not radar.

:eek:AARTo fines illegal, HG? Started reading about that last night and seemed more applicable in Joburg? I'm seriously considering track racing from next year on for adrenalin bursts. Found two more low-speed fines on paycity this morning:eek:. Wife is not going to be happy!
