Because my diff has broken, i started to tear her apart for repair

I will take the gearbox down too, because i will change the clutch and flywheel for a 2.5 v6 stuff.

I took the gearbox down today

Now some cleaning and waiting for parts to come (Q2, carbon clutch, singlemass flywheel etc...)
I will post more pics of refitting, i hope soon

I found flywheel and complete clutch yestrday from a broken 2.5 156. Clutch almost new and i paid 130 euros for all, quite a bargain.

Bad news about you diff but looks like you have the situation under control, you can now get a Q2

I've got the diff

Right is the 156 2.5 v6 flywheel

I will mount exhaust headers from a 164 3.0, and i will remove all 4 cats. Where the second two cats were, i will fit two from alfa 155 2.0 in paralel, they will give enough freeflow and will be like homemade sportcat I hope the second pair of O2 sensors will be satisfied.

I hope to gain some HP. Then the remap is on the list, my goal is 250HP.

Q2 in the place it belongs

Now just waiting for the big seal at the end of a crankshaft (all alfas i know develop a leak there :rant then mount the 156 flywheel and clutch and the gearbox at last. Will post all soon ofcourse.

I changed the sealer(dont know how you say) on the crankshaft and mount the clutch and fly from 156 v6, i hope it get's warm soon, it's hard to work with low temperature outside.

She is alive again some sound without exhausts and no lmm. First time startup after few months.

I mounted the decat manifolds today, it was a time consuming job.

I wonder how any gases come thru this cat?
