Hey everyone,

I ordered my first ever Alfa Romeo on Wednesday (27/07/2011), I took it for a test-drive on the Tuesday fell in love with it within 5 minutes of driving it, now i just can't wait for it to arrive. I loved the way it drove, the amount of kit that comes as standard, the way it looks, the quality of the materials used, the way it just is perfect.

Will update this post as i get though the process, just incredible excited and cannot wait.


I am only a student so am on a tight budget but i am very happy with the car i chose.

As to the waiting list question, i don't really know, this sounds silly but when i placed my order there was one on the system to my spec that had just come out of the factory and no one had "claimed", as this is the case i would imagine it would take a few weeks to ship then possibly a few more weeks to get it ready. if it is any indication the "Details of vehicle being ordered" arrived the other day and it has the chassis number on it, i am taking that over to the dealership this afternoon so will be asking for an arrival date/collection date. i am hoping to get it at the end of august but it might be a bit optimistic.

News update: it is somewhere on a boat in the sea, thats all the info i could get.

Are theses actually made in Italy? sounds silly but my VW was made in Brazil.

So I haven't heard anything since monday and i was told as you can see above that it was on a boat on Monday surly they should have an idea on a delivery date by now?

How long do i leave it before i call to ask if they know anything?
