Hi, this is my fist post here….
I bought an Alfa 147 2.0TS 3 months ago and it is now making a knocking noise from the back when I drive slow over bumps, it seems like something is loose in the boot. I have checked and emptied the boot and is all ok. I took it to kwit fit and they could not find anything wrong with it. When I have things on the boot the noise disappear, not sure if because of the weight or because it makes the noise not as loud....also after driving for a while it stops..
Any ideas what can it be?

thanks

Hi amanduita,

I had a similar problem, my indie mechanic recitified it. It turned out to be the rear lock catch had come slightly loose. Personaly stay clear from Kwitfit and find yourself a good Alfa specialist in the region to recitify any future problems pal.

Hi

Feel free to give me a call to arrange to pop it in on Saturday - I can have a quick look over it for you and see what it is.

Thanks

Laurence
