I know its not an Alfa but they are related as we share the same engine as the 1.9JTD's :)

Your car are is lovely

The Block is the same, but the 147 JTDm (multijet) and the GT has 16V motors that pushes 110kW  instead of the 88kW 8V
Thanks :)

Mine is officially a 2006 Astra GTC (3 door) which is the 1.9 16v that came out with 110kw and 320nm from the factory

The 5 door Astra 1.9 came with the 88kw motor :D

Really? That's interesting.
It was a co venture between GM and Fiat

When I had my clutch replaced the mechanic said I needed a new main rear seal as mine was leaking but he said GMSA don't have stock and will only have in 6 - 8 weeks

So I found out what the Fiat/Alfa part number was and contacted Fiat Edenvale who had one in stock and I took it off their hands for a R100 cheaper than GM's Price

My mechanic couldn't believe it when I handed him the Main rear seal in its Fiat packaging and said here is the Seal you were looking for:cheese:
