I'm finally giving up my trusty "Coventry Green" Twin Spark with butterscotch lusso interior. It's been my daily driver for the last 7 years. I bought it with 40k on the clock and its at around 100k (approx) now. The LCD odometer faded away to nothing a few years back but I do around 10k a year (except during Covid!). Mechanically it is sound and the engine is still sweet. Electrics all fully functional apart from front fogs (yep, even the rear demister works!). Air con still keeping me cool and paintwork pretty good considering its age (2001).

Reluctantly, I'll be putting an advert up on Autotrader/Pistonheads. Someone might snap it up for a couple of years of Alfa quality driving or if she's really lucky, an enthusiast will see her potential!

I'll still be hanging out at AlfaOwner as I've bought myself a Brera S to take up the responsibility of getting me to work and back.

So long, its been a blast.

I finally made the decision that I had to start clearing out some of my vehicles (9 round and about the house and garages, and another 8, I think at my unit) and as it happened some local lads came calling to ask about the Sprinter van that had been sat outside the house for over a year since it suffered an ignition module failure - which I'd just sorted.....

A deal was done on that, and they asked about some of the other cars - including the 156 Sportwagon that was last taxed in 2006, I think, and a GTV TS that had also been sat for a similar period of time.........and I made the decision that I had to do something there and then. The lads bid a reasonable price - I could have got more, but just couldn't be doing with the number of messers I experienced when parting with my Freelander a few months ago, and so I agreed a deal on the pair.......and became a bit-part in a youtube channel video:
