Had the warning light come on today on my wife's 156 JTS with 'Motor Control System Failure' message. Garage diagnostics say its code 1121 which is a printed circuit connected to the throttle. Can anyone suggest where I can get a low cost replacement sensor circuit as they are very expensive from Alfa (£500 guess):wow: PLease point me in the right direction...

i would check block connections from your footpedal all the way to ecu (usually its block connector in foot well passenger) through to throttle body block connector and its intermittent high voltage on throttle pot which can be just a poor contact
