You're not wrong, sign a rider for the year & he gets injured before he even starts the racing season & possible misses testing not to mention races

You'd think there'd be some gym equipment developed at this stage to provide an alternative.

You would think so but I suppose nothing beats riding a bike whether it's mountain bike, MX or road bike......all require the basic skills...... balance, hand/feet/eye co-ordination......

Hopefully that's good news & it sounds like the bike will now be easier to setup with a greater degree of adjustment available.

The main thing that VR was unhappy with was corner entry speed.......:(
I got to see that close up at The Loop at Silverstone and as others got faster he didn't improve. Elias looked quicker( and was) in the inner section......
Top 4 in WSB had faster lap times in the race compared to VR's qualifying time, and Hoppers qualifying lap was 1.74secs faster than VR's qualifying time
So happy that they dumped the GP11.1 and GP11.2......they were embarrassing......:(

bugger me stu, that's interesting.

always assumed the gp bikes would be at least 5 secs a lap quicker. never looked into it that much.

interesting also to hear about hoppers struggles to ride the gp bikes due to the extra physical effort needed  where is the time gained back by wsb bikes then, top speed? gp must surely corner, brake and punch out of the corners better due to their lighter nature not to mention the enormous amount of refining of the bikes?
