Its that time of year and I took her to be Moted

It failed:mad:

why is she doing this to me?

I spend lots of money on her ...cherish her ....pamper her .....she gets more attention than my misses and kids.

She failed on a rear offside wheel bearing.

got four advisories as well

1. fluffing of the passenger seat belt
2. Slight exhaust gas leak at the cat joint
3. Small oil leak
4. Slight play in the offside steering rack end ball joint.

So I got the wheel bearing done .
here is a breakdown on the invoice:-

Mot £35
bearing £50
labour £45

Vat £16.63

Total £146.63

Angry but relieved if you followed .Could have been worse.

Spoke about the advisories and he told me :-
1. oil leak - Dont worry about it as its that small we cant find it
2. seatbelt - Dont worry about it as it is only slight.
3. Steering rack - Dont worry about it as it is only very slight will be fine for probably the next Mot.
4. Exhaust - You will cure that when you fit you catless pipe wont you lol
Apparently he had got to mention the above to cover is own [email protected] with vosa.

So car now Moted

Yeah.

Mine only failed on a tyre. :)

Then when I took it in for the retest it burst the rad all over the forecourt

That cost £275 to fix. :(

Then the power steering pipes sprung a leak (£49 from Alfa) but I managed to raplace them myself :D

High five me!
