Well it's that time again, MOT needed for my 2.4. Brera. Anyway, the good news is that it passed without a problem. While the guy was doing it I asked about the DPF, his comment quite surprised me, he said if I took it off, as they could be an issue, I would have to have the car remapped, no mention of it not being legal without one. I sometimes wonder if I worry too much.

Have to agree, find a friendly MOT centre and your generally okay. I had a similar conversation recently re competition exhaust cans on my bike, the tester wasnt remotely interested and even commented how nice they sound!!!!
I'm thinking of binning my DPF (which is mapped out) and replacing with a link pipe (which retains the sensor).
