My 156 diesel is feeling very unloved. I dropped her for an impulse 147 ts purchase at the auctions a couple of months ago.

Anyway i have decided to sell her, so i'm gonna try and mot her this week and see what the outcome is. A few jobs need doing, but the age old one is airbags!

To save me messing, which one is which connector?

CURTAIN AIRBAG SQUIB DRIVER. is that under the seat?

SIDE AIRBAG PASSENGER. Is that the one under the parcel shelf at the rear?

Decking airbags! It was mot day today.

Cleaned and sorted the airbags. Reset on Alfa diag, all going well until I stopped for cash on the way to the test centre. Fecking light came back on! Fail before I start.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna put it back on the road. Only 2 proper faults, passenger upper arm and a rear suspension bush.

Well pleased with that. Only a few quid to sort.

What's everyone reckon is the going rate for a 54 plate 1.9 (150hp) with a full ticket? 98000m. £1800 engine rebuild after snapped belt at 86000m. Immaculate ti leather inside with cruise control, new clutch. The only issues which I will sort with the mot work are sticky gear shift (top hats) and a proper dent in the front wing which some kid at school thought he'd jump on it!

Fair play. £1700 would be good. I'm gonna get it all fixed next weekend and see where i go from there
