Picked up the 156 this afternoon after having some work done for the MOT, nothing too serious, but the main thumbs up go to Rmaxeman (who sent me some nice new front top wishbones) and Al (who had to carry them from Epsom to Manchester for me).

Now a bit of welding's been done and the headlights point the right way there's another 12 months motoring in the old lady. The new wishbones are a revelation, obviously the old ones have been going off (they're in the boot and look very poorly) for some time but you kind of get used to the gradual change. The new ones have transformed the handling into what it should be, sharp and direct turn in and no suprises half-way around corners or over bumps...

Thanks to the reps and members of AO I've got a proper ALFA again:thumbs:

No problem Scott
They were sat in the garage gathering dust, so I passed them on to you.

Glad it passed the MOT mate, you've got to test them out now on the '100 Alfas' in May :D

The misses 147 went through last week, passed straight through, advisories for low rear brake pads(5mm left) and two tyres (3mm), bella is 9 yrs old with 100k on the clock! Heres me thinking we would be looking at huge bills (running an older Alfa) Turns out, its one of the better cars we've owned! Well happy!:) Im so glad, with everybody saying dont touch them, dont know what theyre missing!
