ok, just had my renewal through from Flux for my 156...

£466.88 TPFT. hmm.

it was only £530 last year, mods declared, and since the start of the last policy i have gained another year's no-claims bonus and i have turned 25, so no longer a "young driver".

just got an online quote, TPFT cover again, but on a standard car, £235.

i know that the mods i declared did not raise my premium by £230-ish last year, nowhere near infact.

anyone think this quote is a bit silly?

Dan Clark, if you are reading, is there anything you can do?

quick edit: the prices are for a 5000 mile limited mileage policy.

To be honest I find AF to be a very reasonable broker indeed with friendly staff and good aftercare. As I'm sure you appreciate it's hard to say what's good and what's bad as you haven't listed your mods or post code or occupation or marital status etc. I think it's reasonable really.

the quote isnt *bad*.

what is baffling is that there is a £230 difference between a quote on a standard car, and my renewal, and that i know i did not have my premium increased by £230 last year, for declaring all mods.

Hi,

If you would like to PM me your Client Ref or your Name and Postcode I can look into it for you. Have you changed your Car or Changed Address during the last year?

Regards,
Dan.
