I know we've talked about this before, but the division of models in the Technical section of the forum is just not right.

The Brera, new Spider and the 159 should be together. They are essentially the same cars, share the same engines and share the same equipment. There have been threads posted by 159 owners which have already been answered by Brera owners, but a new 159 owner wouldn't look in the Brera & GTV section.

Likewise the GT should be in with the 147 and 156. It just doesn't make any sense to me seperating the cars on perceived market position rather than technical make up.

Maybe the 1.8, 2.0, 1.9 and 2.4 ones. The 3.2V6 goes with the GTAs i think.

Not sure I'm with you. I don't see that the 3.2 Brera or 159 has anything much in common with a 147 GTA.

It's hard, because there's an argument that the GTV / GT / Brera should all be together, and the 155 / 156 / 159 should all be together because they likely appeal to the same owners (so 'how does the 159 compare with the 156' questions would fit), but I think Rick's idea of bracketing them by mechanical similarity probably fits best with the idea of having 'technical lounges'.

I think changing the model lounges around is a massive work.

Ian?
That's why I vote for, if the changes are going to be implemented, them to be implemented by our lovely Ricks himself ;). That will stop him from coming up with such ideas in the future  :cheese:
