Looks like we have some more cheating liers!

Mitsubishi Motors admits falsifying fuel economy tests - BBC News

"Mitsubishi Motors has admitted falsifying fuel economy test data for more than 600,000 vehicles."
"The inaccurate tests involved 157,000 of its own brand light passenger cars and 468,000 vehicles produced for Nissan."

Should have just carried on making the Evo. Yes it was polluting, but at least it was honest about doing it.

Hopefully it's the ridiculously ugly ASX, Mirage and Outlander PHEV, then they can stop being silly and make a proper car.

Looks like most of the affected vehicles are ones build for Nissan (450,000 of to 600,000 or so).

So no change to the horrible Mitsubishi line up.

But did they program/design the vehicles to only apply pollution controls
during annual MOT style emissions/road-worthiness testing?
