Hi!
I am in desperate need of help. So, I need new wheels for my MiTo QV and I wanted Japan Racing rims either JR18 or JR3, and I was thinking either a 8x17 ET35, 8x17 ET25, 7x17 ET25. The thing is no distributor accepts returns, so if they don't fit, I'm stuck with them (my main concern is about caliper clearance). Has anyone fitted any of those rims? I am planning to use wobble bolts so I'm worried about the bolt holes not having enough space around them (I have fitted JR3 rims on my old 147 with wobble bolts and it worked but I saw that they updated the rim since then). ET25 would be a safer bet in terms of caliper clearence but it might be a nightmare with rubbing since I have a lowered car, ET35 would be ok but the caliper might hit and sticking to J7 raises the following question: Does going for a J8 make sense, would I gain a noticeable amount of grip from fitting a 235 tire or should I stick to J7 and 215?
