Mito rear wiper

Today I discovered somethin strange. When the boot is open if I press again the ,, open boot,, button on remote, rear wiper start to move a little. Is it just my car or its normal? Its not a problem because in everyday use you will never press the button when the boot is already open, but I am just curious.

don't know about the wiper but i'm sure i've seen the upper brakelight bar flash briefly when i push the boot badge to open it, i put it down to italian electrics, its part of the fun of owning an alfa romeo :)
Don't just limit this to Italians. I once owned a 520 BMW E34 that we christened 'Christine' because the central locking had a mind of its own. When an Auto electrician spends 2 days on a car and refuses payment because he can't find the fault you realise how complex a car can be!
(His thoughts were that the aftermarket alarm fitted by BMW was at fault, but they had disguised the new wiring for it so well that it couldn't be isolated.
I assume you all get the flashes from the indicators ?

Yep mines does this! The rear wiper even starts going when I open the boot on an icy morning! Just makes me laugh when it happens! Very much Italian electrics!
Got my mito 1.4tb MA veloce today! So in love but did notice when I put rear wiper on the 'boot open' message popped up for a second then went away. Tried again and same thing happened! Pooped myself initially!
