Has anyone on here fitted the magneti marelli exhaust and diffuser? I’ve recently purchased these and am in the process of fitting it all. The exhaust seems easy enough however I need to paint the diffuser and it has no way of holding the lights in place, is it simply a case of tiger sealing the diffuser in place of the original or will I need to cut parts off and sand it as the shape doesn’t sit flush, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
Would be pretty easy to use a blob of sealant each end to hold the lights in if needed, they're only held in by some tabs in a slot and a single 8mm headed screw as standard.
I will take some photo’s tomorrow I think it’s going to require some cutting for the lights to sit flush and to remove the plastic bumper part behind the current diffuser for it to sit flat
Mine got delivered a week ago and I’ve just today tried to see what it looks like on the bumper but as you said it requires quite a bit of cutting etc to sit flush, have you managed to sort it yet ?
Sorry For the late reply I never seen this comment, I ended up paying for it to be done as it was too complex and did not want to mess it up. The guy at the garage did say it was a pain to fit though. Here’s the finished product. I love it, glad I just paid a professional
