Hi Chaps.

Long before we even saw a Mito in the flesh I posed the question which was.........is it possible to remove the headlight units, take them apart and respray the inside black as in the headlight units on the 8C?

So for all of you that now own a Mito maybe you could give me an answer as to whether it would be possible?

Many thanks.

I am almost 100% that you could. Just like people do on the 147 and 156's for the GTA mod you mean?
Although most of the new owners would probably be a bit reluctant to put their headlights in the oven

Just a thought, maybe it might be possible to cover the whole of the inside of the pespex cover in a neutral density filter/gel, we use them in TV lighting, there by darkening the glass (as long as it's legal) and that means you wouldn't have to spray the cluster!

Just bin the Mito lights completely, IMHO they are the ugliest part of the car

I'm sure there's a modding house looking at this as we speak. ;)

If only they just used the 147 headlights, the mito would have looked perfect, because the headlights (as my friend says) are the only bad part of the car... Another friend mistook it for a nissan micra in the dark because of the headlights...

If it had headlights like this

I agree that it looks pretty good, and the fact that it's made by a German company makes me feel even better about them.

Still need to see a picture for real though! Hopefully there's some Mito fans in Germany lol

I want opaque black front and rear headlight surrounds and mirror covers as highlighted in the Alfa Accessory brochure, but not only couldn't my dealer give me a price to fit, he couldn't even find them to order. I have temporarily gven up...but maybe some can give me an indication how much they would be to supply and fit?
