Hello, seems like a daft question but can you alter the arm rest to make it lower? ( yes I have pushed it all the way down ?).

I enjoy using it as a usually do a long drive twice every month. However, when I'm doing town driving I can't really change gears comfortably. It's probably because I am only a 5ft 7 short ass, but even then it seems to high in proportion to the gearstick. I don't really want to raise the seat as it will make the driving position feel to high and upright.

Cheers Joe

There's a lever (button) on the lower part of the front of the armrest which you can push to incline the armrest down - page 89 in the owners manual (the copy I've got) - it's below the button to open the top compartment. I found it by accident a couple of weeks back as I'd just not paid attention to that part of the owners manual when I skimmed through it a few months ago!
