Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows the amp rating of the Mito alternator? I'm thinking of fitting a 500w rms sub amp to my Mito when I get it in a few days.

Anyone else? I've done sub installs before, what I am trying to ascertain is what the amp rating is so I can make calculations on what size amplifier I can install. I don't want negative voltage or dimming headlights everytime I get a bass kick.

Surely someone has a repair book or can look at the rating on the alternator of their Mito (under the hood)?

g'day, according to the uk spec mito brochure all models have a 360 amp alternator except the 1.6 diesel that has a 540 amp one.
