Hi guys, I haven't been on here for ages, probably not since I shipped myself and car from London to New Zealand in March. Been having plenty of fun on NZ roads where GTA's are a bit of a rarity...especially blue ones :)

Anyway, had a bit of a creak/squeak coming from the front right. Whipped the wheel off to find that an important suspension bolt was missing! It is one of the ones that goes up into the aluminum bracket that encases the rubber bush on the inside of the lower wishbone (make sense?).

Funny thing is, this is the second time this has happened to me on this car. Last time was the other side of the car and I kinda thought that I simply didn't torque it up enough when I replaced those wishbones. But the righthand front wishbones were done by a UK Alfa specialist, just before I left, so you'd expect they would be torqued up correctly. This makes me wonder if it is a bit of a design flaw and suggest that you all get out there to check you still have your full complement of bolts!

I've read many posts about creaking suspension that has been solved by retightening bolts.....a bit worrying really.

Sounds like the compressor was running low air pressure in the alfa factory when your car was built,so you want to check the rest of your bolts.
