Hi Guys,

New Alfa owner here, just bought a 2014 Giulietta 2.0 diesel, i think im missing a cover on my battery (pic attached) should there be a cover there?

Have a good look around the engine bay (and under-tray).

I thought mine had gone missing until I realized it was simply sitting on the scuttle!

I always think that stuff like this just shows a lack of attention to detail and a lack of commitment that you paid good money to people to work on your car. So I do everything myself!

I checked the oil on our Multipla recently and realised the garage had not replaced the engine cover months before when doing the timing belt and waterpump. Went back last week and they'd kept it from September just in case I noticed!

no, and it's hardly needed there as any metal part in the car is connected straight to the negative terminal

The genius of the Alfa designers thinking of putting the washer filler next to the battery terminal astounds me! And the fact there is no warning to say you are running low. My Missis Mini is 8 years old and it has this feature...
