Can someone tell me what is the manufacture date of my 147 1.6 120hp ?
I'm trying to find it by the VIN but I just got : 2002
Since after 03/2002 there was some change, and the catalytic converter (and maybe other parts) changed - I need to know the month of production.
Until feb 2002: number part is 46739664
From March 2002 and later: number part is 46823073

My VIN is ZAR93700023041786
version: 937BXB1A 06
number for spares :3053772
Is it enough information ?
Thanks

Thank you.
So mine is actually 2001 :depressed: ?
it would seem so ....
as said, vin is not exactly same as on your car though, but it does seem to be correct spec .....
vin number ending ....13041786 gives exactly same btw. (May 2001 production date)

Can you compare your VIN number on the chassis plate to the one stamped into the right front suspension turret?

I checked the stamped number. it is same as on plate.
I hope I ordered the right part.
Not big different I think:

ALFA ROMEO 147 1.6i 16v Twin Spark (120bhp) 2/02-11/03 (1st cat) Approved Petrol Cat - BM91357H | BM Catalysts

ALFA ROMEO 147 1.6i 16v Twin Spark (120bhp) 2/01-1/02 (first cat) Approved Petrol Cat - BM91059H | BM Catalysts

maybe 8mm and I don't think that these are different converters
The difference is in the mounting flange to the manifold.
You need to compare to your engine.
