Depends on year and engine...
Is it a CF2 TS or a CF3 TS or a 2.0JTS or even a 3.2v6 ...?

Its the 2.0ts fly by wire motor so CF3 i believe 2000 plate.
ALL Selespeeds are fly-by-wire, so you can't use that to know if it is a CF2 or CF3.

The change-over was from Sept 2000 Build in Europe.

They quite often fail without showing up on diagnostics.

What symptoms do you have ?

Not uncommon for them to make the car feel really sluggish. Try disconnecting and taking the car for a drive.

The engine management light will come on and it might not idle but see if there is any improvement when driving.

I was concerned about fuel consumption and performance. FES showed an Oxy Sensor fault so replaced that and the sparkies too. There does seem to be a little improvement (although not sure on mpg).

Usual MAF failure symptom is the inability to pass 5000rpm under load and it will only pass 5000rpm using very light throttle.

I think it maybe my car not reaching the correct temperature. My car runs at around 70-75 degrees, Europarts say their new thermostats open at 88.

I'm sure I saw a discount code on here for Europarts ;)

I'm a cheap skate lol

Does it sit at 90 in traffic?

90 is where it should be all the time once warmed up (which shouldn't take long).
